Welcome to the Official Website of Classical Maldivian Cuisine - the first and only cook book on Maldivian cuisine to be presented in English Language. Classical Maldivian Cuisine received National recognition in 2000 with the awarding of the prestigious Presidential Social Services Encouragement Award of the Republic of Maldives to its Author for her efforts towards the preservation of the Maldivian Culinary Heritage.
Classical Maldivian Cuisine is a labour of love embarked upon by the Author with the twin aim of preserving this extensive wealth of wide ranging local recipes in one work and of presenting Maldivian cuisine to the international community who have thus far known the island nation of the Republic of Maldives only for its sun, sand and seas!
